Folitab contains 5 mg of folic acid (vitamin B9). It’s a synthetic form of folate essential for DNA synthesis, red blood cell production, and overall cellular growth and repair. Commonly used to treat or prevent folate deficiency and related anemias.

Uses

Treatment and prevention of folate deficiency and megaloblastic anemia.

Dietary supplementation during pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects.

Support in cases of poor absorption, certain chronic illnesses, or use of medications that deplete folate levels.
