Ponstan Forte 500 mg tablets contain mefenamic acid, an NSAID used for short-term relief of pain and inflammation, especially period pain, dental pain, headache, muscle or joint pain, and pain after injury or procedures when suitable.

Active ingredient / formula: Each tablet contains mefenamic acid 500 mg.

How to use: Take exactly as directed by the doctor, pharmacist, or leaflet. It is commonly taken after meals with water to reduce stomach upset. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration and do not exceed the leaflet dose.

Warnings: Do not combine with other NSAIDs unless advised. Ask a doctor first if you have stomach ulcer/bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, kidney/liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma, blood-thinner use, pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
