Andazol 400 mg Tab 3's

Andazol is used to treat infections caused by worms (such as roundworm, whipworm, hookworm, pinworm, and tapeworm).

Before you take this drug, tell your doctor if:
• You are allergic to Albendazole or any ingredient in it.
• You have liver disease, blood disorders, or are pregnant.
• You are taking other medicines, vitamins, or herbal products.

Things to know while taking this drug:
• Tell all healthcare providers you are using Albendazole.
• Blood tests may be needed to check liver function and blood counts.
• It may lower blood cell counts ? higher risk of bleeding, anemia, or infections.
• Wash hands often and avoid people with infections.
• If treating tapeworm in the brain, other medicines may be prescribed to prevent side effects; eye checks may be needed.
• This drug may harm an unborn baby ? pregnancy test before use, and effective birth control during and after treatment.
• If breastfeeding, discuss risks with your doctor.
