 is a medication used to treat the following conditions

• Short-term treatment (4-8 weeks) of active benign gastric ulcer in adults.
• Treatment of heartburn and other symptoms associated with GERD in pediatric patients and adults for up to 4 weeks.
• Reflux Oesophagitis or GERD disease: This can be caused by food and acid from the stomach flowing the wrong way (reflux) back up the food pipe, also known as the oesophagus.
• Peptic Ulcers: Depending on the position of the ulcer it is called a gastric or duodenal ulcer
