Maxigesic IV is a prescription-only intravenous infusion containing paracetamol and ibuprofen. It is used in clinical settings for short-term relief of pain and reduction of fever when an IV route is appropriate or when oral options are not suitable. Active ingredients / formula: Each 100 mL vial contains paracetamol 1000 mg and ibuprofen 300 mg as sodium dihydrate. Other components include cysteine hydrochloride monohydrate, dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, mannitol, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide and water for injections.

How to use: For healthcare professional administration only. Give by slow IV infusion exactly as prescribed. Inspect the solution before use. Single-patient, single-use product; discard unused solution.
