MYDOCALM 150MG 30 FILM COATED TABLETS (TOLPERISONE HCl)

Mydocalm is a medicine that contains an active substance called tolperisone. It belongs to a group of centrally acting muscle relaxants. It is used to relieve symptoms of high muscle tone (abnormal increase in muscle tension).

Side effect

CNS: Occasional: Dizziness, vertigo, tremor, paraesthesia. Infrequent: Headache

Cardio Vascular System: Occasional: palpitation, hypotension

Gastro-intestinal tract: Occasional: dry mouth, dyspepsia, nausea, vomitting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatuence. Infrequent: Constipation, heartburn

Skin: Occasional: Sweating, urtication, rash

General disorders: Infrequent: asthenia, drowsiness, pain

How to use 

The usual dose is Mydocalm 150 mg, 1-3 times a day. It should be taken after meal. The maximum daily dose is 450 mg. In known difficult cases a dosage of four times a tablet at 150 mg (i.e a daily dose of 600 mg) can be used.

Treatment should be as short as possible.
