SYAI Ultra Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGM)

SYAI Ultra is a factory-calibrated continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system with a 1.3 g wearable sensor that measures glucose in interstitial fluid and sends readings and alerts to the compatible SYAI app for up to 14 days.

Why it is used:
For 24/7 glucose-trend monitoring, pattern review and configurable high/low alerts; interstitial readings may lag behind blood glucose during rapid change.

Ingredients and components:
Single-use sterile sensor and applicator, transmitter/electronics integrated into the sensor, adhesive patch, compatible SYAI mobile app and instructions. Manufacturer specifications include a 30-minute warm-up, up to 14-day wear, IP28 protection and reported MARD 8.106% under study conditions.

How to use:
Install the compatible app, create the profile and follow the on-screen guide. Apply the sensor with clean hands to clean, dry skin on the back of the upper arm, avoiding scars, lotions and injection sites. Activate and allow the 30-minute warm-up. Do not reuse; remove after 14 days or earlier if instructed, and dispose of it according to local sharps/e-waste guidance.

Potential side effects and precautions:
Adhesive irritation, itching, redness, bruising, bleeding, pain or rare infection may occur. Compression, dehydration, sensor displacement or rapid glucose change can affect readings. If symptoms do not match the CGM value, confirm with a blood glucose meter and follow the clinician's plan; seek urgent help for severe symptoms.
