Toplexil Cough Syrup is formulated to alleviate dry, irritating coughs, particularly those occurring at night. Its active ingredients and their respective roles are as follows:
Oxomemazine: An antihistamine with antitussive (cough-suppressing) and sedative properties, helping to calm cough reflexes and promote restful sleep.
Guaifenesin: An expectorant that aids in loosening and thinning mucus in the airways, facilitating easier expulsion of phlegm.

Dosage Recommendations:
Adults and children over 40 kg (approximately 12 years and older): 10 ml per dose, up to four times daily.
Children aged 2 to 12 years: Dosage is determined by body weight:
13 to 20 kg (2 to 6 years): 5 ml per dose, two to three times daily.
20 to 30 kg (6 to 10 years): 10 ml per dose, two to three times daily.
30 to 40 kg (10 to 12 years): 10 ml per dose, three to four times daily.
Ensure a minimum interval of four hours between doses. It's important to adhere to these guidelines and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen.Â
