VISANNE 2MG contains a hormone, the progestogen Dienogest used in the treatment of painful symptoms caused by endometriosis in women who are 18 years of age and older and have had the first menstrual cycle (menarche). It helps in reducing pelvic pain associated with endometrium-like tissues outside the uterus which causes chronic inflammation (endometriosis).
