Clotrimazole 500 mg pessary*

What Clotrimazole is used for:

It is used to relieve irritation of the vulva (external thrush) , associated with thrush.

Do not use Clotrimazole:

If you (or your baby if treating nappy rash) are allergic (hypersensitive) to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients, including cetostearyl alcohol.

Warnings and precautions

Clotrimazole Antifungal pessary may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives, such as condoms or diaphragms. Consequently, if you are using it on the vulva , you should use alternative precautions for at least five days after using this product.
