Dysport is a medication that blocks nerve impulses to muscles or sweat glands, reducing muscle spasms and sweat production. It is used to treat:

Muscle spasms in the arms and shoulders in adults

Muscle spasms in the legs in adults with equinus foot deformity

Muscle spasms leading to dynamic equinus foot deformity in children over 2 years, causing walking difficulties

Muscle spasms in the arms in children aged 2 years or older with cerebral palsy

Muscle spasms in the neck region in adults

Muscle spasms in the eyelid in adults

Muscle spasms in the face in adults

Dysport is also used to relieve symptoms of excessive underarm sweating that interferes with daily activities and does not respond to local therapy. Additionally, it is used in adults to treat urinary incontinence due to bladder problems associated with spinal cord injury or multiple sclerosis in patients performing clean intermittent catheterization.
