Emla Cream 5 % 5 GM

EMLA™ Cream 5% is a clinically proven topical anesthetic containing lidocaine (2.5%) and prilocaine (2.5%) for effective local skin numbing. It is used to reduce pain before procedures such as needle insertions, minor skin surgery, laser treatments, or cosmetic dermatology. The cream begins to act within 60 minutes and provides numbness lasting up to 2 hours.

This pre-medication pack includes 5 x 5g tubes and 12 occlusive dressings for optimal application. Suitable for both adults and children (as directed), EMLA Cream helps minimize procedure-related discomfort safely and effectively.

Common Side Effects
(≥1% and < 10%)
Skin: Transient local reactions at the application site such as,
paleness, erythema (redness) and oedema.

How To Use:

Apply a thick layer to clean, unbroken skin.

Do not rub in.

Cover with an occlusive dressing.

Leave for:

At least 1 hour for most skin procedures (max 5 hours).

At least 1.5 hours on genital skin before certain procedures.

Before the procedure: Remove dressing and wipe off cream.

Important: Use only as directed. Avoid broken skin, eyes, and mouth. Follow age-specific timing for children.
