Ketoconazole 2% cream

What Ketoconazole is used for:

It is an azole antifungal and is used to treat endogenous Cushing’s syndrome (when the body produces an excess of cortisol) in adults and adolescents above the age of 12 years.

Do not take Ketoconazole if:

If you are allergic to ketoconazole and/or to any imidazole antifungal medicine-
If you have liver problems
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
if you have a history of an irregular heart beat
Do not take Ketoconazole HRA if any of the above applies to you.

Warnings & Precautions:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist
If you have history of liver disease
If you are taking glucocorticoid
If you have irregular heart beat
If co-existing autoimmune disease

* Dosage form and route of administration Ketoconazole 2% cream and Ketoconazole 2% shampoo should be prescribed according to therapeutic indication and disease severity of each individual patient
