Metoclopramide Injection, USP (5 mg/mL) is used to treat and prevent nausea, vomiting, and delayed gastric emptying. It’s especially effective for patients with diabetic gastroparesis, chemotherapy-induced nausea, and post-operative recovery. Administered via IV or IM, this dopamine antagonist enhances gastrointestinal motility and supports smoother diagnostic procedures like small bowel intubation and radiological exams.
